Gladiator is ready

So after my new cassette finally arrived I put Gladiator all back together again this morning. Here is a before shot:

Here is all the video from Samara's and my ride to Provincetown and back.


We really had a wonderful time.  As you can see, the weather was perfect the whole time.  I think it was even great enough to make Samara want to do another bike tour with some day.  Too bad she doesn't want to ride across the country.  We are down to less than a week until I fly out to OR for the start of that trip.  Stay tuned for more video on that ride.

Gladiator gets a new look

It may look like I have found a bicycle tree that bears the fruit of Diamondback and Shimano but it is just me spray painting Gladiator. I have decided to make G blue and throw on some yellow tape on his handle bars. So far I have taken my bike completely apart, sanded it down, cleaned it, primed it and put the first coat of blue on. Let's hope it turns out looking OK.
